Bandýrma Chamber of Commerce was established in 1926 to serve the needs of the business community by raising the profile of members, by promoting public confidence in the business sector, and by introducing measures to stengthen and protect the interests of businesses in the region. Since its foundation, Bandýrma Chamber of Commerce has taken a strong leadership role in developing effective solutions for a range of social and economic issues affecting members.

   As part of its social and economic responsibilities Bandýrma Chamber of Commerce awards scholarships, organises training courses and seminars, takes an active role in European Union projects, sponsors archaeological excavations, supports the work of the Economic Research Institute and publishes and distributes a range of books documents and other reports on economic and current affairs.

   Bandýrma Chamber of Commerce spearheaded the establishment of the Bandýrma Organized Industrial Area. Bandýrma Chamber of Commerce currently has over 2000 members and continues to act as a strong voice in promoting the region’s economic potential.
